Hair Fall Control Tips for Women

Do you see a lot of hair falling out every time you comb? Is your scalp becoming more visible day by day through those strands? Well, if these things are common then they are signs of female hair fall pattern. It is the most alarming but surprisingly common condition prevalent in women. Healthy, thick, and long luscious locks are highly desirable among women and it is considered one of their beauty symbols. Sudden hair fall or thinning of hair in women can make them get into panic mode.

Going back in time when my mother used to have a good hair care routine set for us was probably the best hair day I could recall. Today we have moved way ahead accepting and embracing ‘changes’ in the lifestyle, where our smiles are swapped with constant stress and commotion, and our ‘gharelu nukaas’ are swapped with expensive hair care products with chemical ingredients.

Our fast-paced life hardly has any time to care for and pamper those hair strands, and when things go wrong, we start experimenting! Before we start experimenting or treating our hair concerns, it is necessary to find common reasons that lead to hair fall in women.

Reasons for Hair Fall in Women and ways to combat hair fall issues at home:

1. Stress

Stress hits mentally and emotionally hard that directly or indirectly impacts the quality of hair leading to hair fall. High-stress levels can partially damage the stem cells of your scalp while aggravating the impact.

2. Nutritional deficiencies

Vitamins A, B7, D, and Iron are essential to prevent hair fall-related concerns. Those women who don’t get enough nutrients from their daily diet are prone to hair-related concerns including hair fall. Try consuming foods rich in these nutrients or opt for hair fall reduction supplements.

3. Pregnancy

Fluctuating hormones and dropping levels of estrogen during the pregnancy stage stimulate the hair growth hormone. And this is the primary reason why women face extreme hair fall throughout the pregnancy and after childbirth. Although, this is a natural process and you shouldn’t be stressing over it as it will only make the situation worse.

4. Side effects of certain medications

Consumption of certain medications could interfere with the regular cycle of your hair growth while triggering hair fall. Even some women relying on birth control pills can lead to hair fall. Therefore, it is recommended to consider consuming medications only when it is genuinely necessary.

5. Fungal infections

Those who are suffering from fungal infection on the scalp can experience hair fall as it can severely impact the scalp by destroying the hair shafts. Hence, it is necessary to visit a health care expert on sudden rigorous itching of the scalp. Anti Fungal infections can be brought under control by including natural and pharmaceutical drugs.
